Description
PatchCleaner – a utility to remove unnecessary installer files and software update files. Windows folder has a hidden system Installer directory where the installer files (.msi) and patch files (.msp) are stored. Such files are important to update, correct and delete software, but over time they are accumulated even more and more and outdated and unnecessary files that occupy disk space, appear. In Windows, there is a list of required MSI and MSP files, PatchCleaner compares the contents of the list with the contents of the Installer system folder, and detects all outdated and unnecessary files. After the comparison, PatchCleaner displays a small report with the results, in which you can see how many files are used and how many are unnecessary. PatchCleaner offers to remove the extra MSI and msp files from the system, or move them to another location so that in case of problems, you can return the files back.
