PatchCleaner – a utility to remove unnecessary installer files and software update files. Windows folder has a hidden system Installer directory where the installer files (.msi) and patch files (.msp) are stored. Such files are important to update, correct and delete software, but over time they are accumulated even more and more and outdated and unnecessary files that occupy disk space, appear. In Windows, there is a list of required MSI and MSP files, PatchCleaner compares the contents of the list with the contents of the Installer system folder, and detects all outdated and unnecessary files.
