WinContig – a software to defragment the individual files and folders without having to apply this process to the entire hard disk. The software requires you to add or relocate files to the main window and start a defragmentation. Before the defragmentation starts, WinContig sends a request to check the disk and files for errors which helps reduce errors during defragmentation to a minimum. The software allows to include or exclude certain files or file formats from the defragmentation and save a set of files in a profile in order to simplify their reuse. WinContig can automatically execute the scheduled tasks and manage various parameters through the command line which greatly facilitates the workflow. Also WinContig can be copied to portable media carrier, for example, a flash drive and used for your personal preferences on any computer.
